"I did it!" I never get tired of hearing this or seeing the reaction on a students face when they accomplish a skill. I work with students who have difficulty with speech and language ranging in age from Head Start (3yr.-4yr.) to Pre-K through 5th. They are each unique and have very diverse communication needs. These students would benefit from story kits and interactive games to continue growing their speech and language skills. The story kits will help my students build vocabulary, sentence structure and narrative skills. The games will motivate my students when working on various activities related to articulation, fluency, and social skills. With the use of these fun and interactive resources, my students will be able to learn and build language through play.
They will have more engaging opportunities to improve their speech and language skills on their journey to becoming successful communicators.
My speech students are always excited to come to speech to learn, practice and have fun. Each of them motivate their peers and push each other to do their best. I love being able to find innovative ways to help them improve their communication skills in school and in life!
