Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to make good choices and take ownership of their learning time and opportunities within the school day through a variety of seating options that encourages collaboration and a sense of responsibility.
If my students had the opportunity to responsibly choose a seating option such as a comfortable bean bag chair or wobble floor cushion, focused learning would increase not only for that particular student but for those seated around them as well.
