We have access to wonderful technology in our classroom, including Chromebooks and iPads. The students also visit our classroom listening center at least once per week. In the past I have asked students to bring earbuds from home and I have found they quickly break and then we are left without.
These headphones will allow every student to work at one time and have access to high-quality, clean headphones. They will be able to use our technology and not worry about who has headphones from home and who does not.
This project will level the playing field in my classroom and will help some of my more disadvantaged students blend in unnoticed. It will also help streamline storage, organization and maintenance of the headphones.
