Flexible seating allows students to own their learning. They choose where they work best. During stations my students have been able to use flexible seating which has improved their engagement and work ethic. I want to expand my flexible searing options so all my students will have the flexible options throughout our entire day. The tables will allow students to collaborate with their peers during group assignments. One table will have the wobble stools, and the other table will be lowered for the cushion seating. The book boxes are for each student to be able to keep his or her own things organized for the daily assignments. The two bean bags will be added to our classroom library, but the students will be able to move those to other places if they choose. I will have a family of LEARNERS on the MOVE achieving their full potential.
