Our students at Gateway appreciate the simplest gifts and receive a renewed inspiration by receiving new supplies to work with. It really makes a difference to the families in our school community to help their children grow and have the supplies they need throughout the year. Today one of my students came to class with broken sandals. We just happened to have new socks and a pair of pink and black tennis shoes just her size. Little things like this go a long way. With the involvement of our local church, we put our ideas together and thought it would be a great project to gift renewed supplies and hygiene products to 1 or 2 students in grades Pre-K through 3rd. A little school New Year project that will go a long way and put a smile on a child's face. Not just for my class but a shared school project! Thank you!
