We currently have a skeleton in our classroom..... It is missing many bones including most of the teeth, a leg, a few vertebrae, and the mandible (lower jaw bone).
I would love for them to have a complete skeleton to study. Hands-on learning is the most beneficial type of learning. I want them to be able to see how the bones work together, learn muscle attachment points, see passageways for vessels, and so much more!
Anatomy is hard to learn from a powerpoint presentation or by completing a worksheet. This skeleton would help change the task of learning all 206 bones of the body from a boring memorization process into an engaging activity they will benefit from for many years.
