The goal is for our students to have the correct shoe size to prevent injuries from happening. We firmly believe that our students deserve a fair and equitable education. For this reason, we have established community relationships with businesses and organizations such as Weekend Food Bags, Eye Care for Kids, Future Smiles Dentist Screening, School Bell Clothing Closet, and Three Square Food Pantry. Although these resources are invaluable to our school, we still need help with shoes! Being successful in the classroom begins with self-esteem! Do students feel confident in their appearance? Are they comfortable in their clothes? We want our students to confidently attend school each day ready to learn. Last year we noticed many students wearing shoes that were either too small, or too big. With your help, we can have a closet full of new shoes that will be used to help students in need. When you provide a student with a new pair of shoes, not only do you make every step they take comfortable, you help them feel more confident. As a result, they will increase their academic success through attendance and classroom participation.
