Kindergarteners learn the foundations of their educational careers during this year! My job is to make it fun, hands-on, and exciting! By donating to this project, my students will have a variety of center activities that will help reinforce learned skills and topics all while playing and socializing with their peers (to the extent allowed through the pandemic). My students will also learn how to study and become independent learners by completing activities on their own and at their own pace.
Organization is the key to success! Students thrive on structure and routine so having a clean, predictable, and organized environment will increase their independence and allow for students to own their learning. The trays, and shelving help with just that! It is also important to have a meeting place to converse and create a community within the classroom- that's where the rug comes in. Not only will it add to the aesthetics of our classroom but serve as a comfy space to play, learn and grow on!
