This upcoming school year, the focus in my classroom will be social entrepreneurship. Students will be learning how to create a business and develop a business plan in order to meet the needs of the underprivileged people, who are suffering globally. Currently, my students do not have access to any of the technology needed to make this happen. Providing six Chromebooks will allow students to collaboratively access vital information, digitally, in order to be successful. My students are working to become mindful, creative, empathetic citizens that will be the change needed in this world. Students will use the donated Chromebooks to connect with businessmen/women in our community in order to understand how to create a successful business, develop an online business plan, and connect with people across the globe, digitally, in order to understand and develop relevant solutions to our world's most pressing social issues. Please help my students become globally aware and make this world a better place for future generations.
