The students will be comfortable and have ample space to spread out and complete their work. During science, students use many hands on tools to conduct the investigations needed in order to think critically about science.
Our math program requires students to use manipulatives that allow our students to be fully engaged in the difficult math concepts they learn during the fifth grade.
Using tables allows students to cooperatively learn and take part in "Productive talk". Tables also allow students to move freely in the room when working together or modeling new ideas.
