These materials will allow for a fun, interactive, and engaging approach to learning new vocabulary for students with a hearing loss. Being able to hide materials allows students to focus on the informations they hear (sound, word, phrase) while being introduced to new content. This teaching approach helps to strengthen their auditory comprehension skills. The further development of comprehension skills will aid in supporting later developing literacy skills that are needed for reading and writing. (If you can鈥檛 hear it; you can鈥檛 say it, if you can鈥檛 say it; you can鈥檛 read it, if you can鈥檛 read it; you can鈥檛 write it.)
