Students need calculators for basic math calculations in all of their high school math classes. We are lacking enough calculators for our growing student population. These calculators will help our students attain precision and accuracy in their math classes. More specifically, in geometry, students are asked to use trig ratios to find the measure of an angle or the measure of a side length of a triangle. With the resources we currently have, the basic 4 function calculators do not allow students to practice and master this essential content standard. These calculators will allow my students to use right triangle trig ratios to solve triangles throughout the year.
