I believe that my job as a Science teacher is to inspire curiosity in my students and a love of learning. My students and I were recently moved into a small classroom without windows.
I selected tapestries that I thought would bring color and vitality to my classroom. The greens and woodland scenes are reminiscent of what my students experience in the summer in our beautiful rural area.
I also have the privilege of teaching my students about space and I know that the space-themed tapestries will get them excited to learn as soon as they walk into the classroom! I will be able to use the constellation tapestry to point out constellations that we are learning about and to show in a fun and engaging way, how astronomers use constellations to organize the night sky.
