Our students come from mostly low income families. Utilizing sports as a means to keep these students on a good path is the most effective way. We have an archery class.
Sports equipment is expensive. Our current archery targets are old and well used. These new targets would allow us to increase the number of kids to join our program. Without these new targets we will have to reduce number of students to participate in our program and cutting days out to do it.Our kids get to travel and compete against other Middle Schools in our District; they learn the concepts of healthy competition, make new friends, learn how to work as a team. More importantly, they get to go somewhere different that otherwise their parents can't afford to take them
