I would love to have my students create clay 12" sculptures based on famous works from art history. Wouldn't it be amazing to see one of Picasso's famous paintings come to life as a 3-dimensional sculpture? Or how about seeing Andy Warhol's famous Tomato Soup can become something you can hold? Finally, what if we could see in 3-dimensions the beauty of Georgia O'Keeffe's flowers? This project is aimed at building my student's creativity while driving them to learn more about famous artists and artworks of the past. Clay and glazes will be needed to make this project a possibility. Thank you for your consideration!

About my class
