With these math manipulatives, my students will be able to visualize, create, and understand content that they might not otherwise. Compasses, rulers, dice, paper and pencils are a few basic supplies we lack. However, to increase student exposure to a larger range of math content, we need even more than that.
Imagine trying to learn something that you have never seen or made! When my students are able to measure angles, create 3-dimensional shapes out of geometry nets, or complete scientific calculations using modern technology, the hands-on experience will help them to develop a deeper, more meaningful understanding of those concepts.
