During the school year, we focus on a large amount of hands on activities. Because of this, we do still have to focus on the importance of taking notes on our experiments and discoveries before, during and after classroom labs. We do all of this in our science journals.
The students at my school do not have the extra funds to bring in supplies regularly needed in class such as the glue sticks used for keeping their science journals. I get about 8 sticks from the school and buy the rest out of pocket along with the other various science supplies we may need more of throughout the year. This project will help me make sure my students have what they need to keep their science journals in order and keep up with all of their interactive notes for the year!
