With the uncertain times we are going through in education now and in the upcoming months, my students need to have resources both at school and home that they can use to continue their learning. These kits would provide my students basic materials so they can be successful with at home learning. These materials could be used to complete assignments at home or be used during virtual learning sessions.
Having the ability to practice writing activities and math activities at home to mirror activities we do at school is essential to the young learner. Students would be able to use the white board to work on writing and math during virtual lessons. The crayons, scissors, pencils, and glue would be used to complete assignments when we are not in school. The playdoh helps with fine motor skills and is a fun way to practice letter and number formation. Being able to play card games will help with simple math concepts such as greater or less than, matching, and adding and subtraction.
