Through the explorations of rainbows my students work on learn what colors are represented in a rainbow as well as how rainbows are formed. Students will a multi colored, multimedia art project representation of a rainbow. Students will write their name or words in rainbow by using sand and rainbow paper. Students will learn how to sort and classify rainbow colored materials. Students will also experience the science of rainbow with sun light and water. Another fun science experiment we will do is create rainbow slime and incorporate it in our rainbow rummage box which students will have access to daily.
