Students attending our rural dependent school in southeastern Oklahoma are often without basic educational manipulatives, i.e. handwriting curriculum. Though the students come from a rural background they are hardworking and eager to learn. At 90% free and reduced meals, our students need all of the advantages that can be afforded them, since poverty levels greatly influence learning.
