My students are in a Pre-K classroom. They live in the inner city . Our school was recently hit by a tornado and we are in a portable building now. Technology is not a top priority right now. We have used an iPad in our room before and WOW what fun we had. There are so many APPS that are appropriate for my Pre-k kids. I have a non-verbal child who is on the Austin spectrum and he is able to show me what he knows thru the iPad. Otherwise I would never have known what he was capable of. Also we re in need of manipulatively for math. For Pre-k counting and learning numbers is such an important skill. Most of my math supplies were destroyed in the tornado. Please help me build up my math manipulatively area!
