My student will be working on an ongoing service project building toiletry bags for other students in need in our school and homeless shelters.
Each day my students work on one to multi step instructions to build on their life, social, and future work skills. Instead of putting things together for me to take apart for them to just put them together again, we are going to learn about community service and being useful in helping others by making and assembling these bags. In this, they can learn that no matter what you have or your limitations you can always help others in need.
