Handling children with disabilities pose challenges to both families and professionals in homes and in schools. There is nothing more frustrating than being unable to effectively communicate, express one鈥檚 thoughts, wants or needs verbally or written with parents, peers, and/or teachers. In an attempt to find solutions to challenges facing teachers and other professionals in meeting the social, behavioral, cognitive, perceptive and motor needs of children with learning disabilities in the classrooms is the use of technology. Learners and professionals need to be informed on the importance of providing learners with learning disabilities with the technology tools they need in order to be successful learners. Use of technology could lead to listen, speak, read, write, spell, or do mathematical calculations. With proper instructions and assistive tools, kids with disabilities could greatly improve and attain their potential in educational setting and in the real-world.
