My students are extremely active and love to move. I believe balance balls as flexible seating option is just what some of my students need in order to focus and "get their wiggles out" as they work.
I have brilliant children in my classroom and the energy they have sometimes interferes with their learning.
I did another project for flexible seating, but only asked for enough balance balls for about half my class. Now that we will have balance balls to share with one another, I feel that having one for each student will benefit it us even more. I do not want any child to feel left out because they do not get to have a "special" chair. With this project and the other one funded, I will have enough balance balls for my students this year and in the years to come.
