The students in my class are mostly English Language Learners trying to acquire enough oral language to communicate in English. Most of them come from low economic backgrounds where books are not accessible. They strive to want to become better readers and writers practicing every night. They ask to take books home, as well as paper and crayons to complete their homework and reading logs. They love to use the class library, yet want to have the books organized by level and category. What a wonderful thing, to want to read, read, read!
