The books that I have choose for my students will make a difference in their learning because they are books that hopefully will be able to help develop a love of reading. I have chosen books that are fun to read and can take them to another world using their imagination. Hopefully reading these types of books will open their creative that can be used in our library maker space area. This will also help my students to become future ready.
Giving low-income students access to new books is an investment in their future.By having these new books in our library they will be able to check them out and will give many of them the opportunity to have a book to read nightly as a why to complete their reading homework as reading each night is so important.
