5 de Mayo is a date that the students see as a Mexican celebration. This year I want to give a mini project to students with different options. I want them to use the popsicle sticks and cups to create MARACAS. They can also choose to create a SOMBRERO with a cup and a plate. The third option is a MINI-Pi帽ata. They will need to decorate their projects with tissue paper and materials provided.
Students need to be creative and have fun at the same time.
They will be working individually but at the same time, they will be sharing resources and ideas. It will be a hands-on activity where they will create something that represents Mexico while learning some History!
