The light table will provide a new and exciting way of learning for my students. The accessories will help to increase their knowledge by allowing us the opportunity to explore new concepts and extend lessons in math and literacy. The children will be able to practice their social and problem-solving skills by sharing the materials, space and creating structures together! They will work on their letter recognition, math, and fine motor skills as they sort and explore the various materials (magna-tiles, manipulatives, trays, and builders) placed in the sensory tray. They will be able to experiment with light and shadow as they observe the materials placed on the light table. These new materials will increase the curiosity and wonder that comes from learning new information for all of my current and future students!

About my class
