By using the items the students will learn to work with each other and life skills by imitating what cleaning and eating goes on at home. They will learn about food groups using the food. Using the dishes I will teach them about setting a table.
Prekindergarten students learn through play. Through play they will learn life skills and social skills. These students come from working poor families and by using the materials provided they will learn many skills.
These items will enrich our classroom and the students will be so happy to have these additions to their learning environment.
