My students have often needed pencils and other supplies outside of their classroom to complete assignments. While my top priority is to make sure my students are given everything they need in the classroom, it is also my priority to make sure they have what they need at home to complete assignments. This comes in the form of basic supplies such as pencils and crayons.
Up to this point, I have given my students as much as I can, and now we are facing a decline in supplies in the classroom. Pencils would go a long way as well as a sharpener and somewhere to place them. While this would help with all subject areas, I'm asking for crayons as well to help my students truly express themselves beyond a pencil.
