I have students in a fourth grade classroom. I have 29 students, 13 girls and 16 boys and my bookshelves are filled with books that are of no interest, out of date, and my students don't use them.
I have a great bunch of students and many of them are high readers. My students love to read in groups and they seem to love to read mysteries and chillers and I want to be able to offer them this for the years to come.
I teach in a public school in a small community in Michigan. We are a growing district so our class sizes are always changing and growing. With a growing number of students comes with a growing number of lower readers. In order to reach ALL of my readers I need literature that will capture their interest as well as reach each and challenge their reading abilities.
