My children love to explore and investigate. They like to bring items from outside, inside and look at items from a different perspective. Such as through a microscope, binoculars, and magnifying glasses. New science materials would allow them to investigate and explore the world around them more and help open their minds to new possibilities. Our science materials are breaking and missing parts so they are unable to explore as much as they would like too. They can use the light panel to explore the materials they bring in from outdoors as well as using it as a new avenue to learn letters and numbers. They can use the magnifying glasses and microscopes to look deeper into the makeup of the items they want to investigate. The books I chose help motivate them and encourage the children to think and explore.
