I teach, encourage, inspire, and motivate students in the ISAEP/GED program. The Individual Student Alternative Education Plan (ISAEP) program prepares students at risk of dropping out of public high school to take the General Educational Development (GED庐) test while developing career and technical education skills. The students can't afford to purchase the GED books in an effort to study away from school. When using a projector to view various websites as a group and or by bringing assignments from the book to life via scanning, the students can be more productive in and out of school. The assignments are crucial to the learning process and there are limited books for use. The students receive a report with specific pages to complete from the GED book, according to what they need to improve in. By scanning these work sheets to their email, they can complete a study guide to use away from school. The scannner can also aid in creating work sheets, quizzes and or tests to upload into google classroom. Also, other sources and projects can be made accessible by use of scanning. A projector will allow various videos, pertaining to their academic needs, to be shown on the board as group work and or learning games that involve class participation.I utilize different websites with different worksheets and videos that help students on an individual basis.By being able to do these things, the students will be able to study on the bus, on their break when working, and various other places in an attempt to be successful in the GED program. When they enter the program, they are excited because they are working towards and looking forward to their completion day ceremony.
