Students in elementary school learn many different ways to create art. A large part of their curriculum is understanding and using clay. This slab roller will allow students to explore clay building techniques using modern tools that they would find in a professional art studio. This slab roller will allow students to create art in a new way and create pieces that they would not have the proper time to create if their only option was hand rolling slabs. Students in their upper elementary years would learn how to use this roller and it would allow them to be more ready for an advanced level ceramics class in their middle school and high school career.
