A Ukulele Club in the library would give all students access to a musical instrument they may otherwise never experience and provide them with a positive creative outlet.
Since learning a musical instrument can be a very challenging process, students will gain life skills, like perseverance, that will help them grow personally and academically.
Ukulele Club would be open to all interested students who will sign up to attend a session that best fits their schedule. The group will meet in the library and practice new chords and learn songs that could later be showcased at the school talent show. The ukuleles will also be available to students outside of the club's meeting times if they would like additional practice.
