Half of students from low鈥慽ncome households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
In our classroom, we have long desks for students that sit 2 to a desk and have no compartment underneath for students to place their classroom items. With no compartment, this makes their desk area incredibly messy due to the amount of materials we keep in class (i.e. workbooks, reading books, pencil boxes, textbooks, etc.). Due to the amount of things on student desks, this takes away from their learning as there is no organization and barely any room to do their work. With these seat sacks, my kiddos would be able to put their materials (usually found on their desk) into an organized section in their seat sacks - increasing the learning and focus in my classroom. My students deserve to learn in a clean, organized environment and I wish I could give this to them on my own - but we need your help! Please help my students to get the most out of their learning.
