When my project is funded, I'll provide a classroom full of working tools to provide vital movement kids need to focus and anchor them to learning in the classroom.
I imagine a variety of options for students to choose from, such as wiggle stools, feet bouncy bands, wiggle feet pads, and surf desk seats available for wiggling bodies in my classroom to increase student learning.
Flexible seating allows students to easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole class. Many flexible seating options stimulate students' sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help children focus and process information. Sensory input is especially helpful for students with ADHD, ADD, and ASD.
