iPads can be used for a lot of different Makerspace projects. One area we would like to explore is coding, using the Sphero robot and the Cue robot. Both of these devices are currently compatible with tablets such as an iPad. The iPads would also allow us to try stop motion animation, something we weren't able to do this year with our current technology. By donating to this project, you will be allowing my students to explore, create, and discover with iPads and robots, helping to prepare them for real world situations using this technology. The iPads will help to expand their knowledge and they will be able to grow in their 21st century skills.
