Our art room has a great selection of beautiful picture books about art and artists, but no good way to display or distribute them to students.
This shelf would allow artists who have finished their creative task for the day to quickly and easily select a book, rather than spend their reading time digging around the old shelves searching.
Instead, they can spend that time reviewing their color theory with "Mouse Paint", or learning more about the artists they study in class with titles like "The Artist Painted a Blue Horse" and "The Boy who Just Kept Drawing". This will deepen their understanding of art, while at the same time improving their literacy skills.
