Our students participated in a competition through Khan Academy and we were chosen to receive $500 that we will be putting towards the calculators. Our goal within the next few years is to have 400 to 500 calculators in our building for student use. Our students are required to use graphing calculators in class, but they can not all afford them. We are slowly purchasing calculators so that in the future students will not have purchased their own. Currently, we have between 100 and 200 calculators. We currently check calculators out to some students, but do not have enough for the needs of our students.
