Many students do not have access to computers at home, and assigning students leveled books to read can be difficult for them. So in down time during class students would be able to do the assignments they would not otherwise get to do at home. Also, students that are above level such as GT and finish work early will be able to move on to task that will invoke higher thinking. In the lessons some of the task are a little more challenging on-line, giving my GT students a chance push their thinking when regular curriculum is not challenging them enough.
My lower level learners would be able to use tablets for certain curriculum as an accommodation.
