My students attend a bay area public school and come from diverse backgrounds. About a fourth of our students are on free or reduced lunch and are challenged by the lack of resources available to them. Many of my students have the desire to go on to higher education, but need more explicit instruction on how to read and write for a college level class. Many of my students are engaged, active in their community and a pleasure to teach. My mission is to reach and encourage the students that are reluctant, support them in their academics and hopefully inspire them to enjoy the classroom environment.
