For English language learners to thrive, they must listen and speak in class everyday. An obstacle my students encounter is their inability to clearly hear instruction and other classmates read/speak out loud. By having a Wireless Classroom Audio System, my students ability to hear instruction and other classmates read/speak out loud will be significantly improved. This will allow students to clearly and comfortably hear the spoken English language that they can mimic, duplicate, internalize and apply. Additionally, this will help students overcome their shyness of speaking loudly and proudly due to their limited English proficiency. This project will increase student engagement and excitement to participate as their voice will be heard.
