We will be building roller coasters to see the effect of incline on speed. We will use tubing and ramps to design rollercoaster with differing inclines and bank turns. We will also use wooden cars and ramps to test the effect of inclines, resistance with sandpaper on track, and to calculate speed. We will be graphing, charting, and writing about our experiences. This will be a series of labs to completely examine Newton's Laws of Motion. We will be calculating speed, acceleration, etc. We will apply these laws to the real world.
I really appreciate any donations received for my kids. They are the joy in my life. I really believe science is a real, everyday experience. Exploration is the key to knowledge and success. I hope they go on to do great things in the scientific community.
