The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The materials will help my children expand skills needed in everyday life as well as open their eyes to things they've never tried. We are coming from a classroom where supplies are limted and we are having to reset a lot of centers.
Cars, Dress up costumes, magnetic tiles, Kitchen accesories, people, oh my! Being able to enhance my children life skills as well as explore with different manipulatives will give my children and experience they will not forget. Being able to dress up and set up the table is a life skill that can later be used and the children will enjoy playing with these items. Adding more maniuplatives will allow my children to increase fine motor skills and make muscles stronger while playing.
After watching my children get excited about items I purchased periodically to add to centers I know that this will be great materials for future students. My children needed more items to keep them active as well as to continue exploring and building life skills.
