Our students need exposure to coding skills in order to be prepared for the digital world that awaits them. Ozobots and Dash bots provide an introduction to coding at all student ability levels.
From Kindergarten through Sixth grade, these bots can be utilized to teach basic through advanced coding in a way that integrates core curriculum into STEAM education.
Our Kindergarten students will learn to make Ozobot follow a line and use them to help retell a story and make logical sequences. Our third grade students will program Dash to find its way through a maze, problem solving along the way - and make connections to how animals and early California tribes adapted their own environments. Our sixth grade students will work through the scientific process as they make small adjustments to Dash and document their findings as they attempt to make baskets with the launch attachment.
