Having an iPad in the classroom would be an amazing resource to make technology available for students who are not able to physically manipulate a keyboard or mouse. Through 鈥渢ouch鈥, a student will be able to select answers to questions, match puzzle pieces and learn to trace!
Materials that I have selected are developmentally appropriate and will help students to meet their individual goals. Magnetic boards help students to build fine motor skills while working on their hand-eye coordination. These are also safe for my students because they won鈥檛 be able to put small pieces in their mouth. Sensory materials help lower functioning students to engage and feel comfortable in the classroom setting while giving them the input needed to feel calm.
