Physics is the fundamental set of laws that govern the universe. In our course, students will discover these principles for themselves. They become scientists and engineers to ask questions, design investigations, gather information, and draw conclusions about the world and its interactions. In order to back up their claims, students must create mathematical models that help to support claims and create models of how the universe works.
The TI-30XIIS is the ultimate tool in the Physicists tool belt. It is an easy to use calculator, providing the necessary functions to calculate vector components, compute large numbers in scientific notation, and give students the extra power they need to create a mathematical model of the interactions of the universe around us, from calculating distance and speed, to solving for time dilation when traveling near light speed.
