My students are new to the school environment and are learning how to socialize, communicate, and use skills to mature into respectable, dedicated, and hard working students.
Little ones love to explore, so it’s important to introduce a special place for them to learn through hands-on play – and sensory tables can be the command center for all that tactile research.
Children learn how to play cooperatively with the materials in a sensory table. The sand/water table will help my students with sensory/tactile issues. It will also be used to increase academics, communication, fine motor and encourage social skills (teamwork, sharing, turn taking) all while having fun!
