Students participate in Independent Reading every day. Having a book in your hand because so your teacher doesn't yell at you during this time is very different from having a book in your hand because you never want to put it down! I want to make sure that throughout the year, I add books to the library that keep my students interested, engaged, and excited about reading.
Our students are working towards becoming high school ready, and I want to make sure that they leave me with a LOVE of learning. The more books that we have in our classroom, the more likely that it is that we will reach. Every. Single. Student.
